About

I am an associate professor in the Department of Statistics and Data Science at Cornell University and the Department of Statistics at Rice University. I received my PhD in Statistics in August, 2017, also from Cornell.

Prior to my graduate studies, I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in May, 2012, summa cum laude with a major in Mathematics and minors in Computer Science and Legal Studies. I also participated in the Pathfinder Program in Environmental Sustainability, including field work in the Mojave Desert and Hawaii.

Depending on the season, I enjoy hiking, trail running, and cross country skiiing. Independent of the season, I love to be outdoors!

Here is some more background from Cornell CALS and Cornell Bowers CIS.
